Liquid Dancing

January 3rd 2007 03:00
Liquid Dancing is associated with rave, however it still combines many elements of popping.

The dance is called liquid dancing, because of its flow-like nature, and the illusions it creates. When liquiding you need to incorporate waves, rails, traces, threads, contours, splits, builds, and hand flows.

Many dancers include glowsticks to enhance their illusion, however when using glowsticks the term liquid dancing is changed to glowsticking.

The difference between popping and liquid dancing is that popping
contains hard hits and contractions, whereas liquid dancing doesn't. Liquid dancing is often danced to trance music, whereas popping is danced to electrofunk music. In today's age however, popping is commonly danced to hip hop and rnb.
